Although he was not the first, Alexander Wang did popularize the "barely there" button down on his Spring 2014 runway. Unfortunately sometimes this style does not execute well in photos but it is way cool in person. I do not suggest trying this look on a windy NYC day. That is what I call a recipe fo

Theres nothing I love to wear more then a complete white or off white outfit. It is so fresh and effortless.
I completed my outfit by accessorizing with a purse and shoes in the same color scheme. I have had this bag for years and I am excited to whip it out again as fringe has made the most major comeback. To make my monochromatic look stand out, I added a pop of color with my lip and this vintage Givenchy necklace from 1977.
My sister texted me the other day and asked me if maxi skirts are still in. My answer was "ehh, only if they have a slit". It doesn't matter what is in or out, I always advise people to wear whatever YOU want to wear. But it is true, weather it is a slit on the outside of your palazzo pants, or your favorite maxi dress- slide slits are one the most important style details for this season.
The same goes for clogs, or mules (whatever you want to call them) It is no doubt the shoe of the season and I have been living in my pair from Aldo. I got these probably around freshman year of high school and have never parted with them. That is why the title of my blog is called So Last Year. Everything comes back into fashion if you hold on to it long enough.
When I spotted this studded high neck at the Vintage Twin's pop up shop the other week, I knew exactly how I wanted to wear it. Studs on top always calls for studs on the bottoms. If you look close enough, it is obvious to see Blank had Isabel Marants past spring collection in mind when they were creating these jeans. This current spring though, is all about fringe. Colored, metallic, leather, suede- you name it. Gucci has me dying over their collection this season. If I can't have their blue fringe shoulder bag, Steve Madden will just have to do!

This is one of my favorite outfits that I've worn in a while. One,because I cannot get enough of wide leg pants right now and two, because white is my absolute favorite color to wear (especially when it is head to toe).
White on white has become my go to uniform on most days. Its clean, refreshing and it compliments my skin tone.
Leave it to Rachel Zoe to create the best fitting flared bottoms. If anyone has mastered this style, it is her. She is actually doing a book signing down in Tribeca for her new book #Livinginstyle so I hope I can make it down there tonight to see her. She really has been my idol/hero/role model since I was 13 years old.
The other day someone asked me which I love more- street fashion or runway? Of course I admire the effortless cool of street style but if I could dress as if I walked off Balmain's runway everyday, I would.
Mid length silhouettes are one of the biggest styles we saw taking the Spring 2014 runways. Every time I've tried this length, it never looked the way I wanted because of my hight. This H&M skirt is the only piece I found to not fit me totally awkward.
I am so excited Spring has officially arrived…bye bye boots and beanies.
